The Windrush Awards
On June 21st, the anniversary of the arrival of HMV
Empire Windrush to Britain with its pioneers from the Caribbean, Sandra
Webb received a� Windrush
award for her work with the XP Support Group.�
The awards are given to British African
Caribbeans and Asians for their outstanding contribution to the mainstream
economic and social life of their country.�
The awards took place at the Dorchester Hotel in
London. Sandra was presented with her Award by Lord Dholakia, Chairman of the
Liberal Democrats.
